Step one is the easiest step to making money with google adsense:

The first thing you need to do it sign up for google adsense program by going to https://www.google.com/adsense and clicking on the button that says "SIGN UP NOW" . 

Great! Now Step one is done! Congrats, you are well on your way to making a pretty penny!

One of the first things you need to understand in order to make money with Google is know:  How does Google Make Money .  Why is this important? Because the more money Google Makes, the more money YOU make. And if you are STILL reading this blog, then that means you are well on your way to Making Money With Google!

Before I started to make money with Google I always wondered how they were making any money. They don't sell any products, and most of the services they offer are free. So how the heck does google do it? Even more impressive in 2009 Google is set to bring in about 10 billion in revenue. YES, Ten Billion Dollars. All this from a company who offers their services for free.

How do they do it? The answer on how google makes money is.... Advertising.  And by reading and doing everything in this blog you will be able to get a good slice of that 10 Billion Dollars! Here's how it works and why it is important to you: 

Advertisers pay google in two ways. One in on the google homepage (Have you ever went to search for a particular thing in google and at the top of your search results you see a box that says "Paid Advertisement"?  ) . The other is on other peoples webpage (this is how you will make money with google). These advertisers only pay google if someone clicks on their advertisements. It's an ingenious idea, because the companies who pay for this advertising can target for very specific keywords, and for a very specific audience. Look in the picture below ( Click on it to make it bigger ). As you can see in the picture paying for a sponsored link gets you to the #1 spot in google and targets the exact audience that this company is looking for.

But what to should you write about that is going to make me money with Google Adsense?

This is the #1 question I get asked all the time, and the simple truth is that I can only give you some pointers. First and formost, write about what you know and DON'T write about your life. Let me be honest with you here. Unless you are famous,  no one cares about what your doing from day to day except your family and some friends. Instead, write more of a "How To..." kind of blog. And keep the subject as narrow as possible. For instant, if you know about car repair - don't write about repairing all engines - DO write about ford engines.

Another good thing to write about is things that are in the news and hot right now. For examples, if the day you heard about Tiger Woods car accidnet you started writing 5 or 6 enteries a day, everyday about the sagga you would have gotten numerous visitors to your site. Subsuquently, you would have then make money with google because visitors equals clicks which then translates into money!

Writing about niches is a great idea too. For instance, with the radical increase in diagnoses diabetes cases in the last decade people are scrabbling to read about how others are managing there diabetes. Thus, diabetes is a great niche to write about.

I'm sure we all want to know How To Make A Million Dollars ... And so, i will tell you how to do so. Here I am going to tell you the secret to make money online.There is one thing that 90% of people do when attempting to make money online with google that will result in failure. I repeat -  90% of people who venture out to make money online fail. No one whom I've ever taught to make money online has failed. Why? Because I know the secret... The 90% who fail go out and create a meaning less webpage. The 10% who succeed know how to create a productive webpage threw successful keyword research. Most people concentrate on the webpage it's self, but what's the use of a good webpage if no ones ever going to find it?

In February of 2007 the world wide web consisted of about  29.7 billion pages, and the #1 way people find these pages is threw search engines like Yahoo, Bing and Google. 80% of people who are searching online for a website click on a page that is on the 1st page of the search engines. So, if your webpage is NOT on the 1st page of the search engine chances are your not going to be found.  

Getting on the 1st page of a search engine takes many components, all of which we will go over in this blog. But the most important components is picking great keywords, the least important is making an appealing webpage. Most people do it the opposite and dedicate most of there webpage making efforts into, well, the webpage. 


I repeat. I repeat. I repeat... If you want to know how to make a million dollars with google spend most of your time doing keyword reasearch and not on webpages!

You will often hear the word "niche" being floated around when ever anyone talks about making money with google. It is referring to "niche marketing". Here we will touch on what exactly "niche marketing" is and how you need to use it to your advantage. 

"Niche Marketing" or a "niche" is a specific part of the population you intent on focusing your marketing efforts toward. For making money with google adsense using a blog as our webpage it will refer to what subject we want to write about, and thus what subjects will come up in our google adsense ads. 

Why is finding a niche important? 

Different niches will earn you different amounts of money for each click. Some niches will earn you up $10.00 per-click while other niches will earn you ONLY $0.01 per-click. One cent per-click is for the most part a waste of your time. Lets do some math here: is you earn $5.00 per-click, and get ONLY 60 clicks per-day you will be earning $300.00 per-day! According to the U.S. Census Bureau in 2008 that US had a population of 304,059,724. Thus, you would ONLY need 0.00000197% of the American population to click on ONE of your ads to be making well over $100,000 a year with google adsense! 60 clicks per-day is achievable by ANYONE. Thus, you want your blog/webpage to be geared toward subjects with those high paying clicks! Pretty amazing - Huh?

Furthermore, you need to find a niche that is NOT over loaded with competition. For example, the "make money online" niche has a fairly good payout, BUT is extremely popular. If you search the term "Make Money Online" in google you will have 168,000,000 search results! So, you need to find a niche that people want to learn about, has high payout per click with google adsense and is doesn't have an intense about of competition. 

Simple enough, right? Well, finding a niche that pays good money per -click, that is NOT extremely over competitive, and will give you enough material to write about it is what is difficult. In the next entry I will recommend ways that all of the top earner with google adsense use to find a niche.

As we learned earlier google makes its money from advertisement, but what we we didn't get into was how to use this to our greatest advantage.


What we want to find is particular keywords that will give you the highest pay-per-click. Why do hours of work for a keyword that is only going to get you $0.03 per click? We want high paying Keywords!  Google has both, "Adsense" and "Adwords". Google Adwords is the advertising platform for business that we spoke about.  Business pay Google for every person who clicks on their ads. Those ads are paid by the businesses via Adwords. As you know businesses will ONLY pay if you click on their ad. The part that effects you the most is the price paid per click is determined by the market place. That is, the more competition for a particular subject or keyword, the more the business is going to pay Google's adwords per-person who clicks on their ads.

The price Adwords charges the advertiser per click for content ads, roughly determines the price YOU will be paid per-click with google Adsense. Knowing this, keep in mind, there is no hard and fast rule of what keywords are going to give you the most pay-per-click. This is because the amount you will be paid per-click is determined by the market a particular niche. One day you could be paid $2.50 per-click one day and $0.65 the next. Thus, in the subsequent blog entries when talking about calculations you need to know that they are only estimations of what you could earn, and hard rules. With that said, in my experience my " possible earning calculations " are ussually about 90% accurate!  Discovering high paying keywords and niches that the payout per click will vary, BUT if you find a high paying keyword most days will mean high pay!!!!

Knowing all this information on how Adsense determines YOUR pay will give you a head above the rest of the people who are not reading this. What you should do now is go out and "play" with the google search terms and discover which are the most popular. Check out what people are writing about. Notice how many paid advertisements their are on the google.com search page for particular subjects. This will give you a better index of which keywords and words will pay the most. For example: type in the words " Cheap Flights " (without quotes) at google and you will get 22,900,000 search results, AND 3 paid advertisements on top! My guess is that this is a niche that pays pretty darn good!

The hardest part of making money online with google adsense is going to be a finding a niche that pays great! Even some of the most competitive words you can still make some money on. Why? Because of "LONG tail KEYWORDS"! What are long tail keywords you ask, I knew you would ask! Long tail keywords are keyword phrases that are three or more words long. It's a proven fact that most people searching on the google now a days use long tail keywords when searching for a particular topic! Use this to your advantage when picking out a niche! 

Googles "spiders" picks up on word combination. So, lets say you are righting a blog on a competitive topic, let say "potty training" for instants. The sentences you create in YOUR blog will be different then all the other sentences created by other bloggers on the topic. Meaning your blog will create different long tail keywords then another persons blog on the same subject.


Thus, say someone goes to googles and searches:

One of the keys to use this to your advantage is to write often and write a lot.  Furthermore, if you choose a competitive niche, make sure you research less competive  long tail keywords to use within your blog!  This will insure you more vistors.
